Based on more than 25 years of experience in instrumentation products in the market of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine, the team of VSP specialists has accumulated certain competencies and knowledge of the market, understanding of actual operational requirements and expectations of customers.

In the project work on instrumentation products, VSP cooperates with such manufacturers and suppliers as HAVI Engineering (India); CIR-Lok (China); HSME (South Korea); Panam (India); WIKA, formerly SAMI (Italy) and Micro (India); Fujikin (Japan); AS-Schneider (Germany); Parker Hannifin (USA); as well as with a number of Russian manufacturers of instrumentation products.

VSP is actively involved in the implementation of projects in Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and a number of other markets.

Despite the fact that many manufacturers of instrumentation products meet the same standard, for example, in terms of dimensions or materials, the actual performance of the products varies significantly due to the variety of production technologies and quality standards applied.
Therefore, one of the questions we ask ourselves is the manufacturer's compliance with the requirements of Russian and international standards and the characteristics stated in the certificates.

In 2018 the VSP introduced testing on the basis of a professional independent laboratory into its practice. 13 samples of fittings and manifolds from different manufacturers were presented for testing.

The following tests were carried out within the framework of the program:
(1) determination of the chemical composition of the examined Samples according to the method of GOST R 54153-2010;
(2) measurement of hardness of hardened ferrules of fittings according to GOST 2999-75 procedure;
(3) testing of samples for the effects of salt fog according to the method of GOST 9.308-85, p. 1.6;
(4) metallographic analysis of the studied Samples after exposure to salt fog in order to determine the degree of metal corrosion;

"Comparative tests of manifolds for strength and tightness":
(5) strength and tightness test;
(6) destructive tests.

In 2020 and 2021, the VSP testing program was continued with the aim of testing the products of another manufacturer — HAVI Engineering.

Instrumentation products are an extremely broad concept, including a large range of different products and an even greater range of their applications.
The market of instrumentation products is highly competitive, which in itself is interesting, as it presents almost all advanced technologies, presents the products of both "veterans" of this direction with a hundred-year history, and companies that have recently entered the market. In addition, many of the manufacturers of measuring instruments integrate instrumentation products production units into their companies in one way or another. This fact alone indicates that instrumentation products are an important element of the measuring unit.

VSP has quite a long experience in the field of industrial automation and measuring systems, and also has more than 25 years of cooperation with Parker Hannifin, a recognised world leader, including in the field of instrumentation products.
Today, the suppliers of VSP in the field of instrumentation products are companies from India and the Asian region. The main partner and supplier of VSP — Havi Engineering, India — provides the possibility of effective VSP project solutions for users, taking into account the affordability and compliance with international, Russian and industry standards.

Depending on the experience and understanding of the hydraulic medium or gas systems, it is often suggested that, for example, different types of fittings are "more or less" the same. To some extent, it is true that in many applications you can use any fitting from the product range, and the choice is often made based on what is already in use and what is more familiar.
As you know, history tends to repeat itself. The history of application of a particular product in a particular enterprise can lead to the choice of an outdated solution, without taking into account new design solutions or materials. When the customer consults on the choice of fitting, information on the application is always required for a professional answer.
Some issues that need to be considered relate to ease of assembly, temperature, working environment, the possibility of reassembly and resistance to excessive tightening.

Not the least role is played by the geography of application. The map of VSP projects covers the entire territory of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, and a number of other countries. Different industries and applications, economic and sometimes non-technical arguments for decision-making require a flexible approach — understanding of the customer, commercial conditions, technical requirements and in-depth knowledge of the proposed product and solution.
