It is common knowledge that competence of every employee, of the entire company team is the real business potential in itself. It is common knowledge that in our world of open communications, in the world of rapid changes of the technology development vectors and ever- growing market requirements, more demanding consumers, and intellectual potential as such to a great degree determines the competitive company position, as well as that of everyone of us.
At VSP, as the company is focused on offering services to customers—project solutions in the field of instrumentation products—knowledge means everything.
The specialists expertise in the main company business line, i.e. in instrumentation products; understanding of modern trends in marketing technologies; current knowledge base of VSP specialists involved in projects execution and providing for general company business practice; skills and tools for communication with suppliers (English); professional sales technique; and finally the overall level of the employees knowledge and skills—an extended list of various aspects that we strive to develop for every specialist in the company, improving the professional level of the team year-to-year.
That was easier said than done. Some might suggest such declarations to be tempting from the point of view of the company appealing as an employer (how tempting the prospects are...), practically, the VSP Educational program means a lot of work, hundreds of hours of effort to achieve the development goals set for the year.
Of course, not everything comes out of what we have planned, but there is a general trend, and we count that the persistent work on developing the employees skills, expanding the horizons of specialists, eventually positively effects the quality of services we provide to customers.

After all, all efforts are for this—to be the best, to be the first, to be the winner, to be the one the user and the market choose!
How to achieve such high rates? The answer is obvious.
InPO (individual educational program), 5% practice (5% of working time for the study of professional literature), free English courses, McKinsey practices study and discussion by colleagues, Sandler's rules and covenants (‘49 Rules for Sales’), ...opportunities for free professional training in one’s speciality—a wide list of various tools for personal development is available to VSP employees.
Each year we single out a particularly distinguished colleague within the framework of the Educational Program. It’s a pleasure to note that in 2023 it wasn’t easy at all to make a choice—a number of specialists demonstrated a certain level of effort during the year and the relevant results.

The dynamics of communication skills with the company foreign partners, regular work to improve the general level of knowledge and competencies, a development program in the specialist field— accounting and finance—these are the main criteria according to which Marina Smirnova is recognized as the VSP ‘smartest’ employee in 2023!
Our congratulations to Marina, and we expect that an additional paid holiday week as it is due to the ‘smartest’ will be in demand and applied properly!
Study, learn and learn again!
