Lengiproneftekhim. VSP and Parker: a business trip to Saint Petersburg.

Kirishinefteorgsynthes is one of the key customers for VSP. MTL solutions for intrinsic safety, Emerson density and viscosity precision meters, and of course, instrumentation products by Parker Hannifin - practically all the technical solutions represented by the company in Russia have found their application at the largest industrial enterprise of the North-West region of Russia.

With the scale of the oil refinery, a key task for KINEF to enhance efficiency at all the production stages, would be obviously unachievable without involvement of highly qualified technical specialists accumulating knowledge and the best world-wide practice in the area of project and design research.

(LLC Lengiproneftekhim) - Design and Engineering Institute for Oil Refining and Petrochemical Enterprises. A leading project design institute in Russia was founded in 1945. For over sixty years it has been involved in developing domestic and foreign oil refining and petrochemical sectors, and to a certain degree shaping the fuel strategy of the country.
Up till now over 400 process sites implemented according to Lengiproneftekhim are operating at oil refineries in Bulgaria and Hungary, India and Korea, Cuba and Macedonia, Turkey and Ethiopia, CIS, Baltic states and Russia.
The Institute is actively cooperating with the leading Russian oil companies: Surgutneftegas, Lukoil, TNK-BP, Slavneft, Rosneft and others.

It is not for the first year that VSP has been cooperating with the Institute. One of the latest projects in which we have been actively envolved in terms of application of Parker Hannifin instrumentation products is construction of a new LK-2B unit at KINEF. VSP specialists provided a comprehensive technical support to Lengiproneftekhim engineers at the stage of the project formation. There were a lot of questions, especially taking into account stringent operational conditions at the installation which imply instrumentation products from special materials - hastelloy and monel. Summing up, Parker Hannifin solutions provided for compliance with technical requirements and were selected for further commercial evaluation.
A VSP representative took part in the tender held at Surgutneftegas actually, and as the result of the open tendering Parker Hannifin products were chosen by the customer ranking the best by pricing as well in comparison to competing offers by Swagelok and DK-Lok.

On May 17 VSP and Parker Hannifin representatives presented manufacturer’s solutions to Lengiproneftekhim specialists.

One of the main presentation spotlights was on Multitube Parker Hannifin. Some latest developments on instrumentation products group were presented to the engineers of the Institutes as well. An additional potential for Parker Hannifin solutions application in the new Lengiproneftekhim projects was discussed during the meeting too.
